RTCC: Top Saudi Conctractor
Saudi Arabia's construction industry is one of the largest in the Middle East. While the rest of the world is still recovering from the global economic crisis, the Business Monitor International is forecasting a near seven percent growth in Saudi Arabia's construction sector in 2010. This growth is fuelled by about $80 billion of dollars of infrastructure projects either in pipeline or in current construction projects. One of the top undertakers of these construction projects is the Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC). Currently, the Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC) is ranked third on the 2010 Construction Week Top 10 Saudi Contractors due to RTCC's securing of Saudi Arabia's $3 billion, 6000 km border fence project which is one of the most high-profiled yet sensitive projects to be tendered in the kingdom.
Previously known as Abdullah Al Rashid & Brothers which was established in 1957 in Al Hufof city, the construction company merged with Rashid Abdulrahman Al Rashid Company to form the Al Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC); one of the top, largest and most successful contractors in Saudi Arabia.
